Various sound effects contribute to situating viewers in the context of the Vall de Boí (Boí Valley) and reinforce the mapping’s visual effects. We created the sound effects by making recordings in different parts of the valley, capturing the sounds of streams, the wind, bells, animals, human footsteps and the squeal of the church door’s hinges. Duly synchronised with the images, those sound effects enhance the audiovisual production’s expressive power and help viewers travel back in time to the Church of Sant Climent de Taüll of 1123.
